Welcome to our farm! We are a small farm located just outside historic and beautiful Titusville, Pennsylvania. Home of the first oil well. We have been raising  Full Blood, Purebred, and Percentage Boer goats for two years now. I hope you enjoy our site and find something interesting . If you have any questions please contact us.

Our Goats!

We are striving to produce quality meat goats not trim and slim show wethers, we want our goats to look like miniature beef cattle! We just added a new herd sire this fall that is going to get us on the right track it is a grandson of the massive Warlord and at a little over a year he is filling out nicely. We want our goats to speak for themselves, the other traits we are striving to produce are good mothering abilities, easy kidding, raising kids without help from us, and fast growth with the least amount of input.

How we got started

When my family moved to the country onto the family farm, I was looking for some kind of livestock that would fit well on my 7 acres. My dad already raises beef cattle on his 100 acres so I wanted something different. When goats first crossed my mind I was looking at dairy goats and thought of a small farmstead dairy, then I came across the Boers in a magazine and just knew that is what I wanted. So I started looking into finding some and discovered there were not alot in the area I lived in so I thought better yet . Now I did end up with some of those dairy goats anyway, once we found out that two of our children are allergic to cows milk,  I think they are more healthy now on raw goats milk than when they were on cows milk, and my little girl loves it, she was drinking soy milk and I know we could never get her back on soy again. I believe the goat industry has a lot of room to grow in this country and also in western PA. We are just starting to get Boers into the fairs in the area. If you have a little bit of land you should give goats a try, they really are a great animal to have around.
